In a Big City is a studio album by Igor Kogan, composed for jazz quintet, featuring all original compositions, with special guest nine-time GRAMMY Awards® nominee Tierney Sutton.

The album comprises personal reflections of Kogan’s own experiences, living in different places. He was born and grew up in Russia, moved to Israel and later moved to the U.S. to pursue his music career. The music in the album includes nine original compositions written at different periods and reflects Kogan's  personal journey for the past nine years living in New York and Los Angeles.
